Volunteering

It is our commitment to provide exciting and memorable learning experiences for the children at Velma E. Baker School. Your child is our number one focus. By working together as partners, we can make a difference in your child(ren)’s education. Parents are valued partners who play an integral role in their child’s learning. We encourage all parents to take an active role in their child’s education and we welcome you to the school. You are welcome to be involved by volunteering in your child's classroom, in the library, supervising on field trips or sharing a special interest or talent with our students. 

Confidentiality as a volunteer is of utmost importance at Velma E. Baker School. All volunteers are required to complete a Division form prior to assisting in the school. We look forward to a wonderful partnership as we support your children, our students.
